Hello everyone!
Welcome to ViCadia or “Virtual Arcadia” – a new web zine in which we post articles about PC games and tech, as well as news related to video games industry and electronic hardware.
I, Frank Peckett (editor in chief of Vicadia), have been a long time fan of video games. I have been playing them since I was 3 years old, and that was way back in 1998. At first I was a console player. I played all of my games on Playstation One, but my dad eventually bought me a PC in 2002 and ever since then I have been a devoted PC player. I have a pronounced passion for playing video games and I very much like to talk about them and even write texts related to them. I also like upgrading my PC with the latest gaming hardware. Since PC is a such a flexible platform I like to test my rig very often and compare benchmarks with other PC configurations.
All of the above led me to the decision to create a new web zine and write about video games and PC hardware. Main purpose of this website is to feed its readers with in-depth game reviews, but also share benchmarking data and keep you informed about things that are related to PC gaming.
I hope very much that you’ll like the content that we’ll provide you with on this website.
