The Radeon RX 5700 XT is considered to be a high-end 1440P gaming graphics card developed by AMD. The card was officially launched in July 2019, and like all the cards based on AMD’s RDNA 1.0 architecture, it was built upon 7 nm manufacturing process. The Radeon RX 5700 XT features a Navi 10 graphics chip, with the die size of 251 mm², and 10,300 million transistors. Despite having more than 30 mm² smaller die than the GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER graphics card, the Radeon RX 5700 XT is a considerably more powerful card, and is a direct competitor to GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and GeForce RTX 2080 graphics cards. It is worth to note that Radeon RX 5700 XT comes with 2560 shading units, 160 TMUs, 40 compute units, and 8GB of GDDR6 memory which utilizes 256-bit bus. Default GPU’s base clock is 1605 MHz, while the boost clock goes up to 1755 MHz. The card also supports various computer graphics technologies such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan APIs, OpenGL 4.6, OpenCL 2.0, AMD FreeSync, AMD FidelityFX and AMD Radeon Anti-Lag. The card supports latest PCIe 4.0 x16 bus interface, and consumes around 250 watts of power.

When speaking of its performance, the Radeon RX 5700 XT is a beast of graphics card. Although its primary competitors are GeForce RTX 2080 and GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER graphics cards, the Radeon RX 5700 XT regularly beats even the mighty GeForce RTX 2080 Ti in certain PC titles such as Battlefield V or Tom Clancy’s: Rainbow Six Siege. The Radeon RX 5700 XT was designed to be the ultimate 1440P graphics card, however, its performance at 4K is also very impressive. The card can run most of the latest PC titles on ultra settings and at 1080P resolution with more than 130 FPS on average, and at 1440P resolution with more than 90 FPS average. Being considerably cheaper than its NVIDIA counterparts, the Radeon RX 5700 XT is a great GPU for building an affordable high-end PC build. Its only flaws, however, are its rather high power draw, and lack of any support for raytracing features.

Since many authorized AIB partners and manufacturers produce different variants of Radeon RX 5700 XT, we have compiled a list of best custom-made models of this card available on the market.
