The MSI Pulse GL66 is not the most expensive, nor the best-looking RTX 3070 laptop, however, it perfectly balances high-end specifications with fairly affordable pricing. The GL66 packs a powerful 8-core Intel CPU, as well as the GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, and it comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory, and 512GB of storage space.

Best Premium: ASUS ROG Strix G15 (2021)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (115 W) | RAM: 32GB DDR4 | Screen: 15.6″ IPS FHD 300 Hz | Storage: 1TB PCIe SSD | OS: Windows 11

The ROG Strix G15 has ASUS Republic of Gamers branding everywhere, from the logo on the lid, to the lettering stenciled on the keyboard surround. The laptop is also abundant with RGB elements, which give it a nice modern look. Most of its chassis is made of plastic, which is something we don’t like, but it’s made of high quality. However, the G15’s display is something that really impressed us the most. It features 300 Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB coverage, meaning it can deliver absolutely stunning image quality. Besides the plastic chassis, the G15’s biggest flaw is its price, which right now is quite high.

Compared to the ROG Strix G15, which is more flashy and oriented towards gamers, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 is primarily intended for use by workstation professionals and content creators. Although it’s also well-suited for gaming, its RTX 3070 Max-Q is more optimized for CAD/CAM modelling and video editing. The Zephyrus G15 also features the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS, which is slightly weaker than the Ryzen 9 5900HX, but is much more energy efficient.

Speaking of its other advantages, the Zephyrus G15 can boast with low-key chassis design, which makes it perfect for use in business environments. The laptop also comes with 15.6″ QHD screen, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, RGB backlit keyboard, and full compatibility for VR hardware. Unfortunately, the Zephyrus G15 has no built-in webcam, and its fans get pretty loud under full load, but the laptops does stay cool. Overall, this is a high-quality laptop that is best suited for users who want to game and work while being on the go.

CPU: Intel Core i7-11800H | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (105 W) | RAM: 16GB DDR4 | Screen: 17.3″ IPS 4K 60 Hz | Storage: 1TB PCIe SSD | OS: Windows 10 Pro

  • 4K display screen
  • Supports HDR400

Thanks to its thin chassis, and even thinner screen bezels, this laptop is also perfectly suited for professionals who, apart from gaming, also need a laptop for work. Besides the high price, the biggest flaws of this laptop are its underwhelming camera and mediocre battery life.

Best High Refresh Rate: Razer Blade 15

CPU: Intel Core i7-10875H | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (105 W) | RAM: 16GB DDR4 | Screen: 15.6″ IPS FHD 360 Hz | Storage: 1TB PCIe SSD | OS: Windows 10 Home
