Although AMD’s Ryzen CPUs are becoming more and more popular among consumers due to their great price-to-performance ratio, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Intel’s CPUs are no longer worth the purchase. In fact, Intel’s CPUs still offer unprecedented single-threaded performance, which means they excel in specific activities such as gaming or emulation. Due to that, we have decided to build our $1300 PC with the latest Intel’s Core i7-10700K CPU at its core. Besides featuring eight physical cores and multithreading support, this CPU also has an unlocked multiplier, which means it can be overclocked even further. Since our PC build is high-end, we have decide to also implement an AIO liquid cooling system to keep the CPU as cool as possible, as well as a 750 W power supply unit, in order to ensure maximum system stability if you decide to overclock it.

With the latter on our mind, let’s not waste words any further and take a look at our PC build.
