PlayStation is one of the most popular home entertainment systems on Earth. The iconic console made its debut in 1994 when Sony released the legendary PlayStation One and brought games with 3D graphics to masses. PlayStation has come a long way since then, and with the latest PlayStation 5 gamers can now experience high fidelity games with ray traced graphics.

For a long time, select game franchises were exclusive to PlayStation only. For example, games like Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy and God of War weren’t available on PC or Xbox. The only way to play these games on PC was to use different PlayStation emulators which were often buggy and would require a very powerful PC to run.

However, things have been slowly changing in the last decade, and many games that were exclusive to PlayStation can now be played on PC. The biggest surprise came from PlayStation Studios (Sony’s first-party publisher) couple of years ago, when it decided to start releasing PlayStation exclusives on PC. Thanks to this decision, millions of PC gamers can now finally play some of the best PlayStation games on their PCs. Days Gone is an open-world action game set in American wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic. The game was first released in 2019, and was exclusive to PlayStation 4. However, as of May 2021, the game can also be played on PC. The player assumes the role of an outlaw Deacon St. John and embarks on a journey to find Deacon’s wife Sarah.

Days Gone is a third-person shooter game with open world exploration elements. Players are forced to fight zombie-like creatures to progress the story, and can use a wide variety of firearms, melee weapons, and stealth to survive. The PC version of the game features ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics which includes increased LOD, field of view and foliage draw distance.
